About Kristina
Kristina Silbajoris, Owner and Doula at In Beautiful Harmony Doula Services has always been intrigued and fascinated by pregnancy, birth and babies. After the birth of her own daughter she discovered her deep passion for everything birth, breastfeeding and and baby related. She hopes to help mamas and babies, with love, support and guidance, through the beautiful journey of labor and birth as well as the journey of parents into parenthood.
Kristina is a positive, non-judgmental, and compassionate doula who is calm, strong, patient, and levelheaded when you need it most.
Kristina worked in the non-profit industry for more than 10 years and the accounting industry for almost four years before pursuing her dream of supporting and empowering women and their partners during the most important day of their lives—the day that they would bring their own child into this world.
When she is not helping parents through their birth journey you can find her learning more about nutrition, labor, birth and breastfeeding, spending time with her daughter, hiking, organizing, cooking, and doing arts and crafts and taking pictures.
I want to help other mothers to have the birth they desire and a birth day for their child that is filled with positive thoughts and memories. I want to help provide parents with the information they need and empower them find their voice to trust their instincts and advocate for themselves.
Mothers and parents should be able to look back on the beautiful and life changing memories of bringing a new life into this world with positivity and without regret.
Education & Training
Kristina Silbajoris trained with internationally known doula, Debra Pascali Bonnaro in May 2015 through DONA International and is also a Reiki Level II Practitioner. She is a member of the Long Island Doula Association.
Kristina also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Design from Syracuse University and a Project Management certificate from Hofstra University.
